To michelle; Yes that was the intent. Nothing scarier to a teenage boy than the girl's father, especially this one. To kevin: Me too. Short cartoons for theaters are always welcome though though multiplex owners don't understand. I remember going to the movies in the late 50's and early sixties they would show at least one cartoon and it didn't matter what it was - Woody Woodpecker, Roadrunner, we loved it. God I'm am too f***in' old.
Looks like Sody's dad shares lot of common interests with George Liquor. Thanks for posting these fantastic drawings from Jimmy's Big Date. This would be a real Spumco classic. Too bad that it hasn't been made, but there's always hope...
I was rooting for you guys at Spumco when I first read about these theatrical cartoons in Wild Cartoon Kingdom. Unfortunatly I never saw these in the theatre. Do you have anymore boards from the other stories?
