Glad you folks are enjoying them. They don't match up with the great Popeye action cartoons from the 30s and 40s but we were headed in that direction. Funny beatings made those cartoons special and we hoped to revisit that genre vis-a vis the mis en scene and whatnot I reckon.
Marlo: You mean Fontanelli? I don't know how much art he has; just the toys and stuff are overwhelming. If you really want some of these I'll be glad to haggle with ya.
SUPER awesome! i was hoping you would post more of these boards!
ReplyDeleteThese drawings are action-packed hilarity!

ReplyDeleteThat's a great look on the short stick-up man's face in the 10th panel/second set. He gots total crazy eyes there.
ReplyDeleteHang on... so is this cartoon gonna be made and aired? If it does, make sure you get a network not run by ex-hippie ladies.
ReplyDeleteDrifta, I can only hope. We have been trying to do a He Hog show; it just keeps dying at the last minute.
ReplyDeleteArgh!-youre not going to sell these storyboards are you?
ReplyDeleteWhat if you get lucky and He-Hog gets picked up? wont you need them?? photocopy them before you sell them!
Does this mean you're through with He-Hog forever and given up?
