Some tips on the easy way to drawing girls: Look at a lot of real girls for many years. Stare at them from a safe distance but try not to get caught, especially by a boyfriend or husband or Mom. ReplyDeleteFinch: That was my guess but I'm not sure how that works. Are the subject and the thumb somehow related? If I was drawing a thumb maybe it would be feasible. Thanks for jumping in.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the thumb blocks out the people who stare at you so you don't see their face. I think the first artist to use that wanted someone to talk to them and used it as a way for someone to ask, "Hey now, what are ya' doing there with yer thumb?"
