How to draw girls

Some tips on the easy way to drawing girls: Look at a lot of real girls for many years. Stare at them from a safe distance but try not to get caught, especially by a boyfriend or husband or Mom. Then practice in your room alone for several decades and viola! Instant success. No charge but if you want to send money I'll have a pay pal soon.

  5. Man...That is so true!
Did you ever get caught and resort to the old ("It's OK, I'm an artist") Gag? It actually worked for me a few times!

  7. Kali: Yes, friggin' being the operative word. I thank you.
Pat: Right and just hold your thumb up toward the subject like the old time artists. What is that for anyway? Anyone know?

  9. I always assumed artistes were using their thumb as a point of reference to get the scale right.

  10. Finch: That was my guess but I'm not sure how that works. Are the subject and the thumb somehow related? If I was drawing a thumb maybe it would be feasible. Thanks for jumping in.

  11. I'm thinking the thumb blocks out the people who stare at you so you don't see their face. I think the first artist to use that wanted someone to talk to them and used it as a way for someone to ask, "Hey now, what are ya' doing there with yer thumb?"

    "Oh that? I'm an artist."

"No kidding! Can we have sex?"

    "Why of course."

"Great. I can tell my friends."

"I may get artistic and finish quickly though, a symbolism for life itself."

    "That's deep!"
