Marker study
Drawn from life. Being on the scene is always better than drawing from photos, there's the 3d stereo-scopic view that cannot be seen any other way. And the colors are more subtle with real lighting.
This looks reaally nice. Do you have an example of something similar drawn from photo? I completely agree with you in terms of being able to learn more from a stereoscopic viewpoint. But what sort of difference do you see in the end result?
Good to see your work again - even better to see you do something as unexpected as this study, which is super cool - I really like it. Miss working across the hall from you - those days at Spumco seem so long ago...

Hey Jim,

Best wishes, Sara
Are you on facebook?
ReplyDeleteNice sketch. I love the colors on the trees. Soothing in a way.
ReplyDeleteSara Halliburton? Is that you?
ReplyDeleteShaun there are millions of examples like that but damned if I can find one when I really need it. Stand by.
ReplyDeleteDon't go to too much effort?
ReplyDeleteIn words, do you see a significant difference?
Be great to see some if you can find them though.
