Jim, your blog is like a taciturn barbeque, where one watches the sunset in calm silence amid the tall grasses with a bit of a buzz on.

John's is like an over populated sleepover in some basement, where all the kids are strung-out on sugar.

oOOOhh! Thanks for the 3/4 rear reference!!! I'm having a bully of a time inking a board of yours. Not your fault. I'm just not good at finding form in egg-shaped characters. Me sucking at male characters doesn't help either! ^_^;;
Thank you so much!

Rudy: that is a very astute assessment of the two respective blogscapes.

Jim: Your Georges are the best. You seem to get simple pleasure from rotating him in space, and if you can I say do it. Plus these are good for copying, ta.

Thanks though most of these are copies or tracings of John drawings. It was the peak of the construction phase at Spumco which I've been struggling to recapture on John's new cartoons. I always tried to learn the flat designy style done by Mary Blair, Crawford, Benedict, and them but forgot about solid construction recently when John started water-boarding me to help me remember. What kills me is the designy artists had construction to their work.
