Very cool. I get this feeling that you were inspired by the Asterix artist, Albert Uderzo. I would have loved to have seen this cartoon made.
Maybe but not on purpose. I was thinking Tytla, Wood and maybe Frazetta, but thanks for that.
So do you actually color on top of John's sketch or do you completely render a new drawing with marker based on something?
Also, what are your fave markers to use?

John did a thumbnail and I made a drawing from that. My favorite markers are Chartpak - big fat juicy ones can do painting effects on animation paper. Blending is good on paper too but tricky. I hope to do a chapter in my book about markers.
When's that book coming out Jim?
Jon it hasn't been written so were talking 2011? Hopefully.
You're welcome Jim. I hope you do get that book written and published. The world needs to know how to produce cartoons of intense manliness.
