Bottom - Lovely example of some vintage early 50s horror comics. Top 3 - Character designs for Ghostbusters cartoon, 1987-88. Artist name on the tip of my tongue...Everett Peck, thanks John. Oh, it's not Peck but Fil Barlow. Sorry guys. Boy am I red.
Very cool. Don Heck is a good artist. I like the work he did on Marvel's Iron Man. He wasn't good at action like Kirby was, but he did bring those characters to life.
everett did most of these creatures, but these look like Fil's style. He has a comic called zooniverse here's a link http://www.lambiek.net/artists/b/barlow_fil/barlow_fil_zooniverse_1986.jpg
Everett Peck! Thanks John. You win the no-prize. Free admission to see me this Saturday at Hyena 8 PM. Actually there is no charge to get in. It's like, open, like .
sorry, I still think it's Barlow. I have an original Everett Peck rough from that series and it's in pen and ink. These just don't look like his style, so I think I'm right. Only once did I think I might not be right, but I was wrong.
Sorry Ted I'm not familiar with Barlow, I just assumed and as you know when you assume, well... You would know better than me. I'll bring a few to lunch and you confirm that. Sorry John, I'll have to ask for that first prize back, my bad.
Jim, I always agreed with Ted. It is Fil Barlow. I was saying that Everett is the one whose name was on the tip of your tongue etc. This has gone on long enough

John I don't think it's that guy you mentioned but maybe. I'll remember it when I hear it. He's kinda well known but damned if'n I can't recall.
Jim, I believe John C. might be right. Fil was the first person I thought of too.
