You know, I think you guys were the only cartoon studio that ever made a cartoon yak. Kudos on that. Yaks are manly animals, especially this one.

By the way Mr. Smith, I love this blog. You post some awesome artwork. You are a very talented man.

i'm digging all of these recent posts of yours, especially the layout stuff you've done.

i've been practicing inking on the Wacom and i inked a Chestacles drawing of yours. take a look and tell me what ya think Chestacles Ink. i hope you don't mind me practicing with one of your drawings, but i love this drawing of Chestacles, very Romita-like. talk to you soon!

That's good JR. You got the body down, on the head make sure to exaggerate the chin or lower jaw, (he doesn't really have a chin but jowls that can be turned into chin if needed), but still fat and soft looking,contrasting small shapes with big shapes. Nice work.
