Color presentation art and a rough sketch of Brunhilda like character from the cg proposal. Sorry but I accidentally deleted the other post with comments. Fell free to re-comment.
It looks really nice. Too bad for the lack of funding. There seems to be always an obstacle for the good things and today mostly crap can get through...
I wonder, I really have no idea, how much money is needed to make a good, decent cartoon. For instance, The Ripping Friends should be still on air. Really, what's going on that we get always deprived from good stuff? Last time I checked on TV to find out what was going on with animation I found this "thing" called Pucca. What a pain...
That one drawing at the bottom alone is a hundred times better than the majority of the utter crap that makes it on television now. It's depressing to think about how many poor kids are going to be stuck watching the Kardoucheans (pun intended) and that blasphemous, classless Disney Channel stuff. Quite a shame when something that's actually good doesn't get made because of financial issues.
Right now, I'm currently just a 16 year old junior in high school, but I'm constantly practicing, drawing and studying so I can become a great cartoonist myself one day and produce something people are going to talk about in high regards. Glad you asked me that question. I'm just worried that someone like isn't going to be able to find a decent animation job seeing how things are right now when I'm old enough.
By the way, I've been drawing cartoons ever since I could pick up that pencil, so I have a strong feeling that's the path I'm heading in. Just a little bit of background here.
I really dig your stuff, I love the crazy style with the squash and stretch implication, the weight is very nice, and I'd like to agree there is nothing on TV of this quality right now. Reminiscent of Kricfalusi, one of my very favorites!

Luis: your instincts are right on. I don't know how much it costs in dollars but I know what it costs in human suffering.
Remember when it was common practice for the studios to clamp battery cables on our nipples to get more work out of us?

Ted I don't know what that means but God bless you anyway.
Roberto - glad to hear you say that. I can't get work anywhere. How's the work situation where you are?
