A collection of manly cartoons and all things perty!!
Damn those are cool!I think that you and John should get together with Comedy III and a company like Kotobukiya Figure in Japan or Gentle Giant in the US and make maquette versions of those. Figure collectors will go nuts for them. I'm serious.Speaking of figure collectors, you and John could make major bucks designing figures for the Japanese market. Characters like Sody Pop and the girls from "Naked Beach Frenzy" have that cute quality the Japanese fans love. There are huge figure collector events in Japan that draw hundreds of thousands of Otaku on a more-than-yearly (I think twice a year) basis. Here's some of Patrick Macias' coverage of WonderFest, the big event I'm talking about.Part IPart IIPart IIIand complete with video...Part IVI'm totally serious about this...I think the figure Otakus would eat Spumco figure models up with soy sauce and wasabi. I'm not sure if Kotobukiya exhibits at Comic-Con or not, but it would be worth checking out.
To michelle: I think the Stooges kids own all the rights, but good idea anyway. I still want to do dolls for men. Wonderfest makes San Diego look like coffee talk.
Hi Jim,I have those! So, the dolls were sculpted after your drawings then? I love how Moe has a ready to poke an eye out finger and Larry's nose is hilarious.
THOSE ARE THE BEST GODDAMN DESIGNS EVER!!!!!!!
Ha ha - way cool!
"THOSE ARE THE BEST GODDAMN DESIGNS EVER!!!!!!!"I want to say the same, but in a less excited way..Something like:"Those designs rock".Yes.
