From the proposed comic book featuring the manliest of the Ripping Friends, Rip Rend. Crag Granite is his boss like Peter Graves in Mission Impossible.
"I'm ordering you to volunteer..." - that's a classic! :D
Great drawing! I love Ripping Friends, and it's good to see one of these characters living on in the comic book form. When do you plan to publish it? Do you need any help with inking and color?
And thank you very much for the comments and compliments on my blog. That Frank Zappa caricature you saw was an old one from 3 years ago, and I plan to improve and redraw it in the next couple of weeks. I'm glad that you liked it.
I wrote that bit with Rip and Crag as a proposal for the comic book if I can ever finish the Chestaclese book which will be finished tomorrow if all goes right.

did you write this stuff, too? looks great.
also, did you have any hand in the "ugly druggies" board game? remember anybody else who was involved in that?
Oh I just love the drawings of Rip Rend. Great names too! They fit.
Great to see you are posting again. Gotta buy something of yours sometime.
Yeah, Republicans sure can devise some dangerous missions. I love it. Very manly cartoons.
BTW Mr. Smith, if you have time, would you look at my blog at leave a comment telling me what you think?

The line "...ordering you to volunteer" is from "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" 1949 starring John Wayne, maybe my favorite line of his.
