Backgrounds are hard to draw for me, I like to see how you did it. I like the first drawing very much, because I like the flowing lines that you use in it, that makes the picture very interesting for me.
to charliej: Layout is fun and challenging for a cartoonist. The hard thinking has been done in the story process, so the layout people can just draw, though there is still much planning to do. Drawing is am matter of desire and spending many hours alone practicing, not pleasuring one's self watching TV or drinking drugs and smoking liquor, so kids, say no to sin and there will be more for me.
To arschblog: That drawing was copied from a Chuck Jones or Tex Avery cartoon a few years ago, I have momentarily forgotten. The others are mine. Study every cartoon you like and try to copy them exactly as an exercise.
