Damn Wood was a GOD. From his straight up Sci Fi to his catoon stuff , you were always watching a master at work. Thanks for sharing.

Wally Wood was awesome. Thanks for the scans!

To Kali: There's plenty more where that came from. To Dominic: Have you seen Kirby's Sky Masters with Wood inking? To Brian: I am getting a whole refresher course in great comic art just by scanning and posting. Whoever invented these internets is a God.

To vincent : Thanks dude. I have an appointment for tomorrow. Should we be discussing this on the blog? I know you said we should forget what happened up on Brokebutte Canyon. Thanks for the address, cowboy.

I wish they would reprint the Mads after Kurtzman
in nice big editions. Some of my favourite Wood stuff
is in them .The early issues are perfect but they've been done a lot.
Great post and Blog.

To drazen: Yeah they probably will if we scream at them a little. I have no money but will buy those. I have a few pre-'65 issues but they are disintegrating.

He broke your butt and now you have to go get it put back together again? That blows!

To Drazen: Thanks for the encouraging words fella.

Jim - yup, I've got the SkyMasters stuff , utterly brilliant. A great team up .

THe Sally Forth & Cannon stuff are guilty pleasures too.

To dominic: It is strange stuff - mostly looks more like Wood than Kirby. Still it amazing.
